All About Home Loans was established in March 2003 by its Principal, Don Hogden, to help people with their home finance needs. Much of Don's business comes from word-of-mouth referrals from existing clients, Real Estate Agents, Financial Planners, Solicitors and other Professional groups. He has built a reputation around honesty, integrity and a genuine desire to help others.
Although Don spends most of his time helping people in the rapidly growing Shires of Ballina, Lismore and Byron Bay, he is happy to help clients who are located anywhere from Grafton to the Gold Coast and west to Kyogle and Casino.
Don has been operating in the Finance Industry in the area for the past 8 years, primarily as a Mortgage Consultant/Broker. His experience with home loans would be very difficult to match. During his 25 or so years in the industry, Don has assisted countless families with their home and business finance needs. He has literally processed, approved, documented, audited and settled thousands of loans during this time. It includes 19 years with the Commonwealth Bank, most of which was spent in lending or management roles in major regional branches or administrative offices.
Since leaving the Commonwealth Bank in 1994, Don has taken time out from finance to spend 2 years as the CEO of the Ballina Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During this time, he developed a strong relationship with local business community and an understanding for the needs of the general community.
Don, Sue and family settled in Ballina in 1994. Their three children went to school in Ballina and have now moved on to further their careers. Don and Sue are active members of the Ballina Chamber of Commerce as well as being heavily involved with sport in the area. Don is very active in playing cricket and involved in committees both as a club member and within the district as well. Sue contributes to her sport of Hockey in a playing, coaching and administrative capacity.
Don and Sue are committed to living and working in and around Ballina and love nothing more than to help others gain the satisfaction of owning their own small piece of the area.
